Why your role matters

The Production discipline at i3D.net is a team of 5 producers, including the Production Director, who work across a wide range of products. We set standards, bring structure and help teams deliver complex products efficiently and predictably.

For our Network initiative, we are looking for a Senior Program Manager / Senior Producer who will also act as Delivery Lead for products such as Network Automation and Monitoring, the new network fabric, network security products, Network-as-a-Product and our anti-DDOS solution.

In this role, you help bring clarity, momentum, and accountability to multidisciplinary teams. You give people the rituals, tools and direction they need to deliver high quality work at pace, while promoting a healthy and sustainable way of working. You also coach other producers and help raise the bar for the entire discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set direction with Product and Engineering: Work with product managers, technical leads and subject matter experts to define clear goals, scope and timelines for your products and initiatives.

  • Run the delivery engine: Lead stand-ups, backlog refinements, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Keep the team aligned, focused, and hitting their milestones without sacrificing balance or wellbeing.

  • Drive accountability and quality: Make sure commitments are clear, tracked, and delivered. Guard quality standards and help teams stay predictable in terms of scope, timelines, and outcomes.

  • Build and maintain production standards: Shape and improve discipline standards such as roadmaps, milestone plans, requirement documents, test plans, risk registers, post-mortems and output reporting.

  • Manage resources and capacity: Review team capacity, identify skill or staffing gaps and work with discipline leaders to ensure teams have what they need to deliver.

  • Spot and mitigate risks early: Actively manage dependencies, surface issues and unblock teams before they slow down progress.

  • Improve communication across teams: Chair meetings, structure documentation and run workshops or trainings to help teams collaborate smoothly.

  • Coach and develop producers: Support producers in your discipline, help them grow their craft and make sure they consistently apply production standards.

  • Track performance and output: Produce metrics on velocity, effort and team efficiency to help teams and leadership understand progress.

What success looks like in the first year

  • Trusted partner: You are seen as a reliable partner for both the Network Product Group and the Production discipline.

  • Organized and dependable: Teams describe you as organized, predictable and supportive, while firm when needed.

  • Predictable delivery: Your projects run more smoothly with clearer planning, better communication, and higher quality output.

  • Standards embedded: Teams understand and use production standards and can run most rituals independently thanks to your coaching.

  • Strong sparring partner: Other producers rely on you for process improvements, complex delivery challenges and raising the discipline’s quality bar.

About you

  • Proven leadership in technical production: You bring 7+ years of project management or production experience, guiding multidisciplinary teams of 15+ people.

  • Strong technical delivery background: You have hands-on experience leading projects in areas such as infrastructure, networking, or datacenters.

  • Track record of shipping complex projects: You have led and delivered several large technical projects using agile or waterfall.

  • Adaptive and people-centered communication: You balance warmth and firmness and adjust your approach to different personalities and situations.

  • Excellent stakeholder operator: You work confidently with many types of stakeholders and keep momentum and accountability high.

  • Experienced coach: You help others reach discipline standards and tailor your coaching to their needs and experience.

  • EU-Work permit and location: This is a hybrid role based in Rotterdam. You must have a valid EU work permit. Please note that this role is not eligible for relocation support and is intended for candidates already based in the Netherlands.
