Key Features

i3D.net's private bare metal cloud on an hourly basis. The moment you need it.

Cost efficient

Benefit from a cost-efficient alternative to Public Clouds and Virtual Machines (VMs) from lower computing and traffic costs.

No Virtualization

Utilize the abundance of computing power. i3D.net removes the complex virtualization overhead of traditional cloud builds, which consumes a fair share of your computing power.

Rapid Deployment

Take advantage of a rapid Flex Metal server deployment, anywhere in the world within 15 minutes from the moment you order.

Know your Hardware

As the only user of your Flex Metal server, you benefit from no noisy neighbors and the full power of a dedicated bare metal server, on an hourly basis. To pick a suitable machine for your needs, you will encounter instance types. This describes the pre-defined hardware configurations that match industry standards.

For example bm1.std.4. BM is short for bare metal. The following number (1 in this case) is the instance type generation linked to a CPU family. Standard means the instance type size in memory and .4 is the 4 physical cores.

i3D.net uses 7 generations of Intel CPU families, with up to 24 physical cores and clock speeds starting at 1.8GHz up to 3.8 GHz. By offering a wide range of selections, Flex Metal servers are optimized for your compute power needs.
