High performance Bare Metal Cloud
for engineers who want both automation and control

i3D.net’s Bare Metal Cloud is designed for teams that need uncompromised performance and control, without giving up cloud‑like agility. You run directly on dedicated server—no hypervisor, no noisy neighbors—while choosing how you consume capacity.

API, Terraform, IaC

Full low-level control, out of the box

  • Direct BIOS access for hardware-level tuning
  • Full BMC access for out-of-band management and remote recovery

Low-latency global network for Bare Metal Cloud

Bare Metal Cloud runs on i3D.net's global, low-latency network. Compute and connectivity behave as a single system, not two things you have to stitch together.

69% of traffic direct-to-user

More than two-thirds of your traffic leaves our network straight to the destination ISP. No transit provider in the middle, no extra hops, no third party making routing decisions for you.

Your own VLAN, across 60+ PoPs

Connect your servers worldwide with private VLANs over our L3 VPN. You get a fully isolated global backbone between your locations, without building one yourself.

Anti-DDoS built in

Auto-detection with negligible latency, edge mitigation across 60+ PoPs, and inline filtering with Warden. Protection is part of the network, not something you bolt on later.

Engineering partnership, not just support

Our in-house solution architects and LiveOps engineers help you design, deploy, and run your Bare Metal Cloud infrastructure.

Solution Architects

Work directly with engineers who know the platform end-to-end to design and optimize your deployment.

LiveOps

24/7 in-house infrastructure monitoring and incident response. Real engineers, any time of day.

FAQ

Our Bare Metal Cloud committed capacity is equivalent to traditional dedicated bare metal servers: one or more dedicated machines reserved to run your workloads, with predictable long-term pricing.

Bare Metal Cloud on demand is the cloud-like flexibility layer you can add on top. The resources are still fully dedicated, no hypervisor, no virtualization layer, no noisy neighbors, but you get the ability to scale up and down with hourly, pay-per-use billing.

Which model you choose depends on your workload. Steady, predictable workloads usually run entirely on committed capacity. Workloads with fluctuating demand, like gaming studios or real-time communication platforms, typically combine both, using committed capacity as a stable base and on-demand to absorb spikes, so they never over- or under-commit.

Every bare metal cloud server comes with:

  • Standard-tier DDoS protection (GLAD) — our award-winning mitigation with ACL and null-route support, designed for minimal latency impact
  • Included traffic bundle of up to 20 TB — exact allowance varies by location
  • 1× public IPv4 address
  • Redundant uplink for network resilience
  • Access to i3D.net‘s premium global network, with low-latency routing engineered in by default

Yes. Our standard setup is 2×25 Gbps, with 1 Gbps uplinks for older instance type.

We support most major operating systems, including:

  • Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, and others)
  • Talos with Omni and FlatCar OS
  • Windows Server
  • Custom iPXE scripts

Yes. iDRAC is available for most instances as add-on upon request, giving you remote monitoring, management, and maintenance of your server.
