Why your role matters

As our Account Manager – Gaming, you will be at the core of our presence in the global gaming industry. You’ll take ownership of both nurturing existing accounts and hunting for new business among international game publishers, studios, and esports organizations. From contract renewals and upsell opportunities to identifying entirely new studios to partner with, you’ll directly contribute to expanding i3D.net’s footprint in gaming.

You won’t be cold calling; instead, you’ll proactively open doors, build networks in the gaming ecosystem, and create commercial opportunities that align our cutting-edge infrastructure with the needs of some of the most exciting players in the industry

Key Responsibilities

  • Hunt for new business: Actively prospect, build pipelines, and close deals with new gaming studios, publishers, and esports organizations worldwide.

  • Execute go-to-market plans: Work with marketing and leadership to prioritize target markets and accounts, then turn strategy into commercial wins.

  • Spot opportunities: Identify whitespace and emerging use cases in the gaming industry where i3D.net infrastructure can deliver unique value.

  • Build networks: Develop strong relationships across the gaming ecosystem, from business leaders to technical stakeholders.

  • Coordinate internally: Partner with Product, Support, and Operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery for new customers.

  • Forecast & report: Maintain clear records in HubSpot, track key pipeline metrics, and provide accurate forecasts of new business.

What success looks like in the first year

  • You’ve built a solid pipeline of new gaming opportunities aligned with our go-to-market plans.

  • You’ve closed multiple new business deals with international gaming studios or publishers.

  • You’ve positioned i3D.net as a trusted partner in at least one new strategic gaming account.

  • You’ve contributed market insights that have directly shaped how we approach gaming globally.

About you

  • Experienced hunter: 3–6 years in B2B sales or business development, ideally within gaming, infrastructure, or SaaS.

  • Go-to-market driven: You know how to turn GTM strategies into real-world commercial results.

  • Industry knowledge: You understand the gaming ecosystem (publishers, studios, esports) and how infrastructure impacts their success.

  • Relationship builder: Skilled at creating trust and navigating complex commercial discussions.

  • Operationally strong: Comfortable working with CRMs (HubSpot or similar), managing pipelines, and reporting accurately.

  • Cross-functional communicator: Able to collaborate effectively with marketing, technical, and operational teams.

  • Language skills: Fluent in English; additional languages (Dutch, French, German, Spanish) are a plus.

  • Location: This is a hybrid role, so you’ll spend some time working onsite at our Rotterdam office. If you’re already in the Netherlands, great! If not, we’re happy to support your move with our relocation services (a valid EU work permit is required).
