Why your role matters

As our Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day customer relationships—ensuring our existing customers get the full value out of our infrastructure solutions. From contract renewals and service upgrades to spotting upsell opportunities, you’ll manage the commercial engine for a broad range of accounts, including gaming studios, cloud platforms, and mid-sized digital service providers.

But this role goes beyond customer maintenance. You’ll be the link between our technical capabilities and customer needs—ensuring every interaction delivers value and that internal teams stay aligned with client expectations. You won’t be cold calling, but you will proactively identify whitespace, explore new use cases within existing accounts, and uncover new opportunities that can grow into commercial discussions.

Over time, you’ll grow to manage increasingly strategic accounts and contribute to commercial and product discussions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts: Oversee the full lifecycle of existing customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth.

  • Drive renewals and upsells: Lead the commercial process for renewals, propose relevant upsells or cross-sells, and collaborate with sales engineers and product specialists.

  • Identify and develop new opportunities: Explore new use cases, expansions, or service areas within accounts. Proactively map where our infrastructure could solve emerging customer needs.

  • Handle day-to-day requests: Act as the main point of contact for infrastructure add-ons, configuration changes, billing questions, and onboarding support.

  • Coordinate internal execution: Work with Product, Support, Operations, and Finance to ensure customer changes are handled quickly and accurately.

  • Report and forecast: Maintain clear records in HubSpot, track key account metrics, and support forecasting of renewals and expansions.

What success looks like in the first year

  • You’ve built strong commercial relationships with your assigned accounts.

  • You’ve renewed contracts and upsold infrastructure in at least 10 accounts.

  • You’ve uncovered and developed new commercial opportunities in multiple customer environments.

  • You’ve consistently handled inbound commercial requests within SLA timelines.

  • You’ve contributed customer feedback that helped shape a product or process improvement.

  • You’ve taken full ownership of at least one mid-sized strategic account.

About you

  • Customer-focused seller: You have 2–5 years of experience in B2B account management or commercial roles, ideally within infrastructure, hosting, or SaaS.

  • Opportunity spotter: You’re not just maintaining accounts: you’re alert to evolving needs, new use cases, and untapped commercial potential.

  • Relationship builder: You’re skilled at building trust, uncovering customer needs, and guiding commercial conversations.

  • Operationally strong: You’re comfortable using HubSpot (or other CRMs), managing quotes, and keeping accurate records.

  • Cross-functional communicator: You can coordinate with support, operations, and technical teams to get things done.

  • Technically aware: You’re comfortable discussing topics like servers, networks, or infrastructure; even if you’re not an engineer.

  • Language skills: Fluent in English; Dutch or other widely spoken languages such as French, German, or Spanish are a plus.

What we do

Low latency is our mission! In 2002 we set out to improve online experiences for gamers. Today, we translate our hosting innovations to various industries, but gaming is still in our DNA. And as of 2019, we are part of the Ubisoft family! We build out our network presence in data centers across the globe – from Madrid to Mumbai, Amsterdam to Seattle, and everything in between – bringing content closer to the users.

Our team works hard on everything related to running our privately owned premium network, from opening new points-of-presence, setting up peering relationships, developing integral products like anti-DDoS protection, and serving our customers with expert help and advice. Finally, we play even harder, in our office gym and bar, and with our lifetime access to Ubisoft games.
