Who we are
i3D.net is a leading provider of high-performance, low-latency hosting through a vast, privately-owned global network. As game sector veterans, we know what it takes for a network to withstand heavy demands, and as of 2019, we are a member of the Ubisoft family. During these uncertain times, we have continued to expand faster than ever, keeping some of the world’s biggest games and VoIP providers online, and their users connected.
The Supply Chain Coordinator oversees the sourcing and delivery of our global supplies. You work together with internal stakeholders to sign and understand the needs they have. With our external partners like vendors, OEM’s and 3PL providers you make sure that these needs are fulfilled. That way you make sure we have the right materials at the right place at the right time. Your main responsibility is to manage our global logistic network and develop a strategy that supports our continuous growth. You coordinate a lot of different processes at the same time and are invited to improve on them where you see fit.
At i3D.net, who you are is just as important as what you can do. You’ll be a hands-on self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit. The world of global logistics has no secrets for you and you are familiar with customs processes. You can be your own master and relish the opportunity to structure your days and interconnect with a multitude of people within the organization. You are not only able to spot room for improvement but also know how to implement it. Being structured is what you like most but you must be able to improvise when plans are not unfolding as they should. Most importantly, you’re a team player who can stand your ground in a fast-paced but fun working environment.
Supply Chain Management is an independent group within operations and reports to our COO / Manager of Service. We are looking to grow the team to a total of 2 colleagues who are based in Rotterdam. Working during the pandemic is a challenge, but we can proudly say we have met that challenge head-on. Despite the distance, we can collaborate, bond, and get you settled. You’ll also have the freedom to structure your days, work times, and environment. If you feel safer working from home, take advantage of our budget for your home office equipment. Alternatively, feel free to use our Rotterdam office, including the fully equipped gym, kitchen, and gaming room (whilst complying with social distancing measures, of course).
Low latency is our mission! In 2002 we set out to improve online experiences for gamers. Today, we translate our hosting innovations to various industries, but gaming is still in our DNA. And as of 2019, we are part of the Ubisoft family! We build out our network presence in data centers across the globe – from Moscow to Mumbai, Amsterdam to Seattle, and everything in between – bringing content closer to the users.
Our team works hard on everything related to running our privately owned premium network, from opening new points-of-presence, setting up peering relationships, developing integral products like anti-DDoS protection, and serving our customers with expert help and advice. Finally, we play even harder, in our office gym and bar, and with our lifetime access to Ubisoft games.
That’s great! Apply for the position with your cover letter and CV and we’ll get in touch with you as soon as we can.
