i3D.net is a leading provider of high-performance, low-latency hosting through a vast, privately-owned global network. As game sector veterans, we know what it takes for a network to withstand heavy demands, and as of 2019, we are a member of the Ubisoft family. During these uncertain times, we have continued to expand faster than ever, keeping some of the world’s biggest games and VoIP providers online, and their users connected.
As a Product Owner of the ONE Portal development team you help evolve our hosting services portfolio including our game hosting ecosystem -our specialty- to compete globally with the big players in the market. You are part of the Agile Development Team and primarily responsible for defining stories and prioritizing the Product Backlog. As PO, you will gather feature requests, schedule releases and coordinate sprints based on the input you actively gather from all stakeholders (internal and external). You work closely with the Product department to have a clear understanding of the company’s roadmap and discuss frequently how those goals can best be realized and planned. You convey that product vision to the development team and make sure that the features that are built by the development team add the most value to the product.
Our hosting ecosystem enables customers to combine their core hosting needs with other products such as protection from DDoS attacks, a Content Delivery Network (CDN), Anti-cheat software, smart game patching methods and many more to come. All based on hybrid scaling, combining our own bare metals servers with Public Cloud Providers to be able to instantly handle a big influx of unexpected players. With our ONE Portal we enclose all our network and hosting products to our gaming and non-gaming customers. This requires a self-service customer portal in which our customers can make new product orders, check upon the status of their servers via a variety of dashboards, check invoices and billing information and much more.
Low latency is our mission! In 2002 we set out to improve online experiences for gamers. Today, we translate our hosting innovations to various industries, but gaming is still in our DNA. And as of 2019, we are part of the Ubisoft family! We build out our network presence in data centers across the globe – from Moscow to Mumbai, Amsterdam to Seattle, and everything in between – bringing content closer to the users.
Our team works hard on everything related to running our privately owned premium network, from opening new points-of-presence, setting up peering relationships, developing integral products like anti-DDoS protection, and serving our customers with expert help and advice. Finally, we play even harder, in our office gym and bar, and with our lifetime access to Ubisoft games.
That’s great! Apply for the position with your cover letter and CV and we’ll get in touch with you as soon as we can.
