Explore the world on i3D.net’s network. With our private 20+ Tbps global backbone, you can secure your connection in more than 40 locations worldwide.
i3D.net is a leading provider of high-performance, low-latency hosting through a vast, privately-owned global network. As game sector veterans, we know what it takes for a network to withstand heavy demands, and as of 2019, we are a member of the Ubisoft family. Now we’re growing faster than ever, keeping some of the world’s biggest games and WebRTC services online, and their users connected.
As a Network Engineer, you are part of the infrastructure operations team. This department is responsible for maintaining the global network of i3D.net and its internal servers. Primary work will be monitoring, maintaining, and upgrading the network. You manage or participate in projects and inform your direct colleagues about these projects so they can be delivered on time for our customers. Your communication towards customers and colleagues is clear, you manage expectations and help to show them i3D.net’s professional approach to network-related projects. Next to working on our network, you also support all other department colleagues throughout i3D.net and Ubisoft with network-related knowledge.
You would be part of our Network Infrastructure Operations group. The group consists of both Network Architects and Network Engineers and System Engineers based in Rotterdam, Montreal, Paris, and Los Angeles. i3D.net is not a typical 9 to 5 company but instead, we grant our employees a lot of freedom. We are flexible in working hours and expect you to challenge decisions as they are being made. You will have the chance to work with the latest hardware and (after covid) get to travel to places all around the world to do your job.

Low latency is our mission! In 2002 we set out to improve online experiences for gamers. Today, we translate our hosting innovations to various industries, but gaming is still in our DNA. And as of 2019, we are part of the Ubisoft family! We build out our network presence in data centers across the globe – from Moscow to Mumbai, Amsterdam to Seattle, and everything in between – bringing content closer to the users.
Our team works hard on everything related to running our privately owned premium network, from opening new points-of-presence, setting up peering relationships, developing integral products like anti-DDoS protection, and serving our customers with expert help and advice. Finally, we play even harder, in our office gym and bar, and with our lifetime access to Ubisoft games.
That’s great! Apply for the position with your cover letter and CV and we’ll get in touch with you as soon as we can.
