i3D.net is a leading provider of high-performance, low-latency hosting through a vast, privately-owned global network. As game sector veterans, we know what it takes for an application to withstand heavy demands. Our relentless focus on quality hasn’t gone unnoticed by companies outside the games industry. With our privately owned data centers, we serve some of the biggest companies in the world with the same quality as we do for the games industry. Now we’re growing faster than ever, keeping some of the world’s biggest online environments and WebRTC services online and their users connected.
In this role, you are responsible for spotting opportunities and connecting them to i3D.net or Smartdc, our data center brand, to transform prospects into customers. Your primary focus will be global operating enterprises and SaaS applications that need a qualitative hosting solution. We provide a one-stop-shop for companies with global expansion plans.
This vacancy is written for different entry levels, each with its own level of expectations:
You have a curious mindset and a strong drive to learn and grow in your role. At this level, we expect you to start developing your network. Going to trade fairs and industry get-togethers will be part of this way forward. Your primary focus will be the local market.
You have experience within the industry. You are familiar with the data center and hosting space or relevant industry trends such as hybrid cloud strategies. You are an independent salesperson who is not afraid to ask for (technical) help at the right moment.
You are an industry veteran with a relevant network who gets a kick out of finding win-win situations for both parties. You have experience in data center and/or enterprise sales, or you know what drives a company in its decision-making. You are the master of getting a seat at the table with the right audience. As a senior, you are an example for your colleagues, and with a coaching mindset, you help them grow in their professional roles.
You will be joining a young, talented, and ambitious Sales department consisting of a diverse group of people. Working during the pandemic is a challenge, but we can proudly say we have met that challenge head-on. We can collaborate, bond, and get you settled despite the distance. You’ll also have the freedom to structure your days, work times, and environment. If you feel safer working from home, take advantage of our budget for your home office equipment. Alternatively, feel free to use our Rotterdam or Pasadena office (while complying with social distancing measures, of course). You will be working for a healthy and solid company that continues to grow at a rapid pace. The business opportunities keep presenting themselves and getting bigger each year. Hence the need for this vacancy. Although we work with targets and performance-based remuneration, we are far from a challenging sales environment. Our CCO truly believes that peace of mind and patience will result in long-lasting relationships with our employees, which will result in long-lasting relationships with our customers.
Low latency is our mission! In 2002 we set out to improve online experiences for gamers. Today, we translate our hosting innovations to various industries, but gaming is still in our DNA. And as of 2019, we are part of the Ubisoft family! We build out our network presence in data centers across the globe – from Moscow to Mumbai, Amsterdam to Seattle, and everything in between – bringing content closer to the users.
Our team works hard on everything related to running our privately owned premium network, from opening new points-of-presence, setting up peering relationships, developing integral products like anti-DDoS protection, and serving our customers with expert help and advice. Finally, we play even harder, in our office gym and bar, and with our lifetime access to Ubisoft games.
That’s great! Apply for the position with your cover letter and CV and we’ll get in touch with you as soon as we can.
