Job description

We are looking for a Product owner to enforce our team. You will be taking care of the full JIRA backlog of all our in-house developed software

You are someone who:

  • Has an HBO/WO level of thinking;
  • a minimal of 2 years of experience in similar roles where Agile methods like SCRUM are key;
  • You are bilingual (English and Dutch)
  • You are a strong communicator with a social and energetic character;
  • Experience with translating business requirements to user stories;
  • Experience in leading discussions and you are not easily set aside dusing these discussions.

This is how you work

  • You are the link between the development department, the customer and colleagues from other departments;
  • Working project based via the SCRUM method;
  • You are part of the SCRUM team and are present during every SCRUM planning and review;
  • You have the responsibility over the entire JIRA backlog;
  • Able to put colleagues from different teams in a room to scope out all the needs and wishes;
  • Discuss with developers, stake holders, management and reporters;
  • Determine the priorities of the issues in the backlog;
  • The go-to person for questions regarding software and the ideas behind them.

The team

The development team is the beating heart of i3D.net. This is where our in-house software is built to automate all the processes that are involved in game hosting. We design, develop and shape the future of the company while maintaining the past. New products and services are born on the drawing board.

We cooperate intensively with one another. Due to the SCRUM method, your daily activities will be variating. There are many opportunities to develop yourself; both inside as outside of the developement team. You will join a dynamic team that is used to assist one another. After work we often play games on line together like Battlefield or Player unknown's Battleground.

You report to and work directly with the Team leader development. 

Your work environment

i3D.net has a head office in Rotterdam. This will be your main work place. The data center is located in the Van Nelle Factory. This will be your secondary work place. All offices are equipped with elevated desks with at least two screens. You will receive a high-end laptop which you can connect to one of the docking stations.
