Job Description

We are looking for an entrepreneurial spirit who is not afraid to make decisions and comes to the office to get work done. You will be part of a young and ambitious team with the responsibility of translating market and technical information into whitepapers, video’s and everything content related. 

A day in the office

On your way to the office you think about what you are going to accomplish that day. As soon as you enter the building you greet your colleagues from sales who are very satisfied with the latest video you created. That video got sales a meeting with a big prospect they have been chasing for a long time! You grab a cup of coffee and your day starts with a stand-up with the marketing- and productteam, in which you state you want to reach the goal of making some adjustments to a technical whitepaper after feedback from a colleague. Furthermore you are going to prepare a script for a filmed interview with our CTO for the latest product release. During the lunch the salesteam asked some questions regarding when content is going to be released, you act pro-actively and book a meeting with sales in the afternoon to elaborate on what the content planning will look like in the upcoming month.

Your responsibilities

  • Identify customer needs and market trends and translate these to valuable content for various channels.
  • Creating sales and marketing collateral: Product sheets, presentations, (technical) whitepapers, video’s etc.
  • Manage the content planning.
  • Responsible for communicating content on various channels (on-and offline)
  • Strategize the brand and implement brand strategy company-wide;
  • Continuous optimization of the customer journey and facilitate customer feedback;
  • Start-up and manage effective campaigns and marketing communications;
  • Implementing marketing automation throughout our campaigns, websites and sales channels.

Our ideal candidate has

Educational and Professional background

  • Bachelor’s degree, qualification in marketing, commercial economics or communication
  • Ambitious, self-starting individual with 0-2 years professional experience in either a marketing or commercial role

Personality traits and skills

  • Strong adaptable and can-do attitude to anticipate to surprises and provide solutions;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, result driven and pragmatic;
  • Able to work in a constantly changing environment and get energy from collaboration with multiple disciplines;
  • Creative thinker, you always find a way to get it done;
  • Savvy with data, able to analyze data and make decisions based on them;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English;
  • Affinity with IT/Gaming, previous experience with datacenters, hosting or IT is a plus.
